Ride-through
For a large computing load: staying connected to the grid through a normally cleared voltage sag, then restoring its load, instead of transferring to backup. ERCOT NOGRR282 and SPP's large-load rules are in force; NERC's CLO standards passed final ballot.
Context: Parts 1.2, 3.2, 4.2, 4.3, 4.4, 4.8, 4.10, 11.10, 12.1, 13.6, 13.10, 14.8, 14.11, 14.13, 16.1, 16.3, 16.5, A, E, F, G
In other contexts, Ride-through also means Carrying a load through a brief power dip, source transfer or loss of coolant flow on stored energy or thermal margin (BBU, UPS, BESS, coolant inertia). Grid ride-through, staying connected to the grid, is a different requirement (Chapter 4.10)..
