AEP Ohio Schedule DCT minimum billing demand for a 50 MW data-center contract — 15 MW plus 85% of contract capacity above 25 MW, before the historical-demand test

72.5% of a 50 MW contractderived

Value kindderived — Derived values are guide calculations; their result is only as fixed as the stated inputs, scope, and method.
ScopeAEP Ohio Schedule DCT, 50 MW post-ramp contract example: 15 MW + 85% × (50 − 25) = 36.25 MW, or 72.5% of contract capacity, before the prior-billing-demand test. With an assumed prior established billing-demand peak of 48 MW, the 85% test is 40.8 MW and dominates that tier floor. Current demand and all applicable tariff components still govern an actual bill.
CaveatOne utility's tariff, not a statewide Ohio rule and not a flat 85%/12-year take-or-pay. Other capacity tiers, the historical-demand test, riders and the exit-fee path all change the effective floor.
